Granbury ISD’s EECU Customer Care Awards were presented to Acton Elementary School on Monday, September 28, 2026.
Jenna Garcia and Louise Miller were recognized with the EECU Customer Care Award, which honors deserving Granbury ISD employees for their outstanding service and dedication. During the presentation, Acton Elementary Principal Ammie Hill praised Garcia and Miller for their commitment to the district, campus, and students.
Mrs. Hill said the following about Jenna Garcia:
“Jenna Garcia is an outstanding 3rd grade teacher with a true heart for kids. She sees a need and does her best to step in, support, and find a way to meet it. Jenna is a strong academic teacher who holds her students to high standards while providing the encouragement and support they need to be successful. She is also a valued team member who contributes ideas, collaborates with others, and is willing to do her part to help the entire team succeed. Her combination of compassion, high expectations, and commitment to both her students and her team makes a positive impact at Acton.”
Mrs. Hill said the following about Louise Miller:
“Louise Miller, our lead custodian, is truly one of the hardest-working people on our campus. She works tirelessly throughout the school year, but so much of what makes Acton shine happens behind the scenes—especially during the summer when no one is here to see just how much she does. Ms. Louise takes great pride in our school and works hard every day to make Acton a clean, welcoming, and special place for our students and staff. We are so thankful for her dedication, her work ethic, and the love she pours into our campus. We love and appreciate our Ms. Louise!”
