Granbury ISD’s EECU Customer Care Awards were presented at Acton Elementary School during monthly campus visits with the board of trustees and district administrators on Thursday, August 28, 2025.
Patti Young and Marissa Beisel were presented the EECU Customer Care Awards, a recognition award given to deserving employees. At the presentation, AES Principal Maggie Walton praised Patti and Marissa for their dedication to the district, campus, and to the students.
“Patti Young goes above and beyond to serve students and staff alike,” Walton said. “She not only delivers targeted dyslexia intervention but also jumps in to support all learners wherever she’s needed. Patti leads with heart, advocates fiercely for students, and continues to grow professionally so she can make an even greater impact. Her passion and leadership are felt across the campus and district.”
“Marissa Beisel radiates compassion, patience, and positivity in everything she does,” added Walton. “She supports our students with grace, even on the most challenging days, and brings calm and kindness to every interaction. Her compassionate heart shines through in all she does. The students she serves and the staff she supports are truly blessed by her presence. Marisa loves deeply and consistently serves as a light and a voice for our students who face the most challenges.”
