Granbury ISD’s Customer Care awards were presented at Acton Elementary during Treats with Trustees on Wednesday, October 2, 2024.
Amanda Gill and D’Onne Edwards were presented Customer Care Awards, a recognition award given to deserving employees. At the presentation, AES Principal Maggie Walton praised Amanda and D’Onne for their dedication to the district, campus, and to the students.
“Amanda Gill is receiving the Granbury ISD Customer Care Award for her steadfast dedication to our Acton Elementary students, families, and staff,” Walton said. “She leads her team with incredible passion and organization, sets a high bar for excellence by creating and delivering meaningful, targeted, and engaging lessons, and is intentional about serving our school and district community. Amanda serves in a variety of campus leadership roles and represents Acton Elementary on multiple district-level committees, making a lasting impact on our school district with her meaningful contributions, her unwavering support, and her deliberate optimism.”
“D'Onne Edwards is receiving the Granbury ISD Customer Care Award for her compassionate approach and dedication to fostering a positive environment for our Acton Elementary students, families, and staff,” added Walton. “The unmatched support she provides our teachers, combined with her commitment to understanding and addressing the individual needs of each student, creates a supportive atmosphere that empowers every child to thrive. D’Onne goes above and beyond to serve our campus in whatever capacity is needed and is an integral part of our Acton Elementary community.”
